About the Role

YouthGold Baseball is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to assume the role of Director of Coaching. As the Director of Coaching, the appointee will assume full responsibility for the holistic management of the program’s operations. This encompasses the strategic planning and execution of practices, the orchestration of competitive games, the design and implementation of innovative training modules, thorough player assessments, and the rigorous recruitment and professional development of a dedicated coaching staff.

The ideal candidate for this role will exhibit a profound commitment to fostering athletic excellence and personal growth within a team-oriented environment. In collaboration with YouthGold Baseball's executive leadership, the Director of Coaching will be instrumental in developing and implementing forward-thinking strategies that not only elevate team performance but also reinforce the core values and objectives of the program. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the coordination and supervision of the baseball program's multifaceted components such as practices, games, training initiatives, and player evaluations.

  • Formulate and enforce strategies to elevate team performance and guarantee the achievement of program goals.

  • Assure that coaching methodologies deliver engaging, suitable, and developmentally appropriate training to youth participants.

  • Facilitate clear and constructive communication among parents, athletes, and team members.

  • Administer equipment logistics, schedule management, and oversee potential fundraising activities.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in baseball coaching, demonstrating a track record of effective leadership and program development.

  • Exceptional leadership capabilities and organizational acumen.

  • Proficient in communication and interpersonal relations, with a focus on teamwork and collaborative engagement.\

  • Skilled in time management, demonstrating responsibility and reliability in task execution.
